Hello, welcome to my first Blog posting on lukejonesre.com!

First, A little about me; I started as a first time home buyer, became an investor & landlord, obtained my California Real Estate license, bought and sold residential property with Keller Williams Hollywood Hills, trained as a real estate investment advisor with Marcus and Millichap, ran the commercial division of Pardee Properties in Venice, CA, oversaw the creation and ran the full service Brokerage division of Westside Rentals and now I’m starting a new chapter at KW Silicon Beach as Luke Jones – Real Estate Expert.

I specialize in residential income property investments. My clients are creative, entrepreneurial people who want to create wealth through their investments so that they have the freedom to pursue their passions and do what they love.

My approach to success in business is fairly simple; I am an expert in very specific areas of Residential Income property with a focus on Multi Family and 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges, I create strategies to grow an investment property from a single condo into a passive income generating portfolio and I build business models that harness the assets potential and execute to a plan based on measurable, quantifiable and achievable goals and metrics.

I'm going to be blogging on a consistent and fairly frequent basis. My intention is that these blog posts will provide value and insight into the Residential Income Property community here in LA. I might also make some recommendations or talk about other real estate investment opportunities. Bottom line is that I'm a firm believer in Real Estate as a major asset class in a diversified investment portfolio and I think we all need to have Real Estate investments in our lives, whether that's as a home owner building equity, a condo owner generating a nice income from a single tenant, an operator who has a portfolio of properties or an investor who simply enjoys an income stream from their passive real estate investments.
